Warwickshire Imps Tour 2026

After last years fantastic centenary tour, I’m pleased to announce that we will once again be touring Devon in 2026.
This years tour will be from the 26th-29th of July, with 4 fixtures and plenty of other activities planned across the week.
More details will follow, but please put these dates in your calendar and encourage anyone who you think may be interested to get involved.
Accomodation is available to suit all budgets.

Geoff Miller to speak at Warwickshire Imps Centenary dinner

We are delighted to announce that former England cricketer and National Selector Geoff Miller will be speaking at the Imps Centenary Dinner.
The details for the dinner are as follows:
Friday 23rd January 2026, 7pm
Copt Heath Golf Club
Tickets:
£55 per head or £500 for a table of 10.
Dress code: Shirt and Imps Tie
Guests and partners actively encouraged to attend.

Warwickshire Imps Centenary Tour
13th December 2024 The annual Warwickshire Imps Tour to Devon will be taking place from Sunday 27th July to Wednesday 30th July 2025. As this is the Club’s centenary year, we will be holding some special events to mark the occasion. A special celebratory fixture vs the MCC will be taking place at Sidmouth Cricket Club on Monday 28th July, followed by a formal dinner hosted by Sidmouth Cricket Club. I would urge everyone to book accommodation early, because they get booked up very far in advance. The Warwickshire Imps are delighted to announce that Chris Williamson has been appointed the clubs new captain after David Smith informed the committee of his decision to step down.
Chris has spent the past three years as vice captain so the decision to move Chris into the captain’s role was a very easy decision and we are delighted Chris has accepted the new position.
Chris had the following to say following his appointment
“I am honoured to become the Captain of a club so close to my heart. With the Centenary year now upon us, it is a very exciting time for the club and I can’t wait to get the preparations underway. On behalf of the club, I would like to say a huge and sincere thank you to Dave for all of his hard work, dedication and passion that he has brought to the captaincy, guiding us through some challenging years and leaving the club in a strong position”.
Club President Jamie McDowall also commented
“Congratulations to Chris Williamson on being appointed the new Captain of the Warwickshire Imps I am sure he will make an excellent captain, and I wish him every success in this role”.
The Warwickshire Imps will celebrate its centenary year in 2025 and look forward to Chris driving the club forwards in 2025 and beyond.
